Sailing Raceboats are delighted to have been appointed the Australian distributor for the Carter range of Optimists. The first shipment of boats have now arrived in Melbourne.
If you are in Sydney there are two brand new boats sailing at Hunters Hill Sailing Club if you want to have a closer look. This move compliments our range of 420's and RS Sailing boats including the Aero 5 for the younger market, and will be available as a complete package with the option of North Sails through out Australia.
Construction
Carter Optimists are built to the highest quality and durability and are built to last.
The very best materials are sourced from around the world;
Swedish foam, Italian stitched cloth. American resin and gel coats, English adhesive. All combined to produce the fastest and stiffest boats on the market today.
They are built to win.
Little design features count and the Carter comes with a heightened mast step, lowered centreboard case, maximized waterline length and sharpened chine. All built conforming to the strict ISAF construction rules.
